Information Technology Analyst III- Transportation Systems Specialist
The City of Pasadena is nestled at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains approximately 10 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Pasadena is home to the world renowned Tournament of Roses and the Norton-Simon Museum. The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) provides customer-driven technology services to City departments in areas utilizing networks, desktops, application development, radio/telephone, and voice services.
Salary: $80,192.32 - $100,240.61 Annually
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, Transportation Systems or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have four (4) years of experience in Transportation related systems such as traffic management, transit operations, parking management etc.; complex technology implementations; enterprise applications integration, data import/export tools.
Experience working with software and hardware specific to transportation industry including but not limited to databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), field data collection devices, communication systems, traffic control systems, video monitoring/recording systems and GIS in the context of Transportation applications is highly desirable.
